We all know that water is a necessity yet somehow many of us (indluding me) find it hard to drink enough water in a day…
I LOVE water, in-fact that’s all I drink except for the very occasional soda but I still struggle with getting ENOUGH. I have a Pur faucet filter thingy so my water tastes great but unless I’m thirsty (a sign of dehydration) I just flat out forget to drink it.
The method that has worked best for me, through trial and error and lots of money spent on various water vehicles is…(drum roll please) a squeezey sports bottle! I don’t know what it is about this little bottle that helps me drink more but it does. I keep it filled with iced water because I’ve also noticed, much to my surprise, that I crave it more when it’s cold. For the longest time I avoided iced water because according to eastern ways of thinking it supposedly it shocks your system…of course there’s also the other (not eastern) theory that it speeds up your metabolism because your body has to work hard to bring it up to body temperature but who knows. It seems there’s a contradicting argument to EVERY-FREAKING-THING these days and if you let it, it will drive you MAD!
Anyway, my point is, I drink more water when I drink it like this…
